I think this volume right here perfectly encapsulates why Chainsaw Man has become my new "problematic favorite" manga series， as I love to call it。 Fujimoto's characterization of Asa with her wanting to be a better person feels almost completely undercut the moment she has to rip her uniform off and fight in her underwear while the POV lingers on shots that are honestly uncalled for given what is supposed to be an emotionally driven fight between someone who she thought was a friend。 It's stuff I think this volume right here perfectly encapsulates why Chainsaw Man has become my new "problematic favorite" manga series， as I love to call it。 Fujimoto's characterization of Asa with her wanting to be a better person feels almost completely undercut the moment she has to rip her uniform off and fight in her underwear while the POV lingers on shots that are honestly uncalled for given what is supposed to be an emotionally driven fight between someone who she thought was a friend。 It's stuff like this that makes me feel like Fujimoto hasn't grown at all in terms of his writing and weak motivations。However， nary a few pages later， we see how shitty Denji can really be when he's selling rerolled cigarettes and honestly， that made me laugh so hard。 So， I don't know！ I'm always tearing my hair out over CSM。 I love it so much but quite frequently， I find myself going， "WTF Fujimoto！" 。。。more

Como chainsaw man é incrível， namoral。 O Denji na sua simplicidade é estupidez， consegue ser um protagonista com tanto peso emocional， mas ao mesmo tempo um alívio cômico。 Estou ansioso para ver como a trama desse arco irá se desenvolver， pois o demonio da guerra mal sabe que quem ele quer transformar em arma， é logo quem ele quer matar。
